Pylon, a cutting-edge Series A software company, is transforming its industry by delivering an exceptional B2B customer support platform. Hundreds of the world's fastest growing companies like Hightouch, Applied Intuition, Anyscale, Lumos, and more, have come to rely on Pylon.
To celebrate reaching Series A funding and foster team collaboration, Pylon turned to Nowadays to plan its first company-wide international offsite.
After voting on destinations, the team chose Seoul for its vibrant culture, innovation, and accessibility. "We're so happy we went to Seoul!" they shared enthusiastically.
Goals for the Offsite
The retreat focused on five key objectives: improving the product through focused bug-fixing sessions, developing a unified team vision through strategic planning, conducting their inaugural company-wide all-hands meeting, building team connections (especially important since most members joined in the last six months), and celebrating recent achievements and success.
Productivity Meets Comfort
Nowadays sourced a spacious guesthouse where each room had its own bathroom, which was a major plus, and also found a centrally located co-working space for Pylon.
Spacious, clean, and near cafes and restaurants, The Executive Centre Seoul provided the perfect setting for productive discussions and planning sessions. The team loved it so much they didn't want to leave.

Seamless Travel Coordination
Nowadays managed travel logistics for the growing team of 13 employees, ensuring flexibility and smooth adjustments, including a last-minute flight change for a surprise engagement proposal.
Memorable Activities
The retreat blended work with cultural exploration and team bonding. Highlights included an unforgettable visit to the Third Infiltration Tunnel at the DMZ, offering a unique glimpse into Korea's history. The team savored authentic Korean cuisine at local, non-touristy spots, which quickly became a favorite aspect of the trip. An unexpected standout was a color-matching activity, where participants explored their personal color palettes—a creative and joyful experience that added a unique touch to the retreat.
